Coconut Creek runs Florida's first all-electric garbage fleet
Republic Services and the City of Coconut Creek launched Florida's first fully electric residential recycling and waste collection fleet, announced August 21, 2026. Six McNeilus Volterra trucks now serve the Broward County city of about 58,000 residents.
