    Antora plans 5.8 GWh thermal battery at Pratt Energy's Kansas biorefinery

    Antora Energy said on October 1, 2026 that it will deploy a 5.8 GWh, multi-day thermal energy storage project at Pratt Energy's ethanol biorefinery in Pratt, Kansas, with deliveries under a long-term heat offtake agreement to start in 2027; Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners led the third-party equity financing, with Grok Ventures and University Pension Plan Ontario participating, and Antora expects over 100 construction and operations jobs. The release gives no dollar amount, contract term, megawatt rating, construction date, or electricity supplier.
