    UNSW and UtmoLight claim 23.5% record for a 676 cm² perovskite submodule

    UNSW Sydney and industry partner UtmoLight have reached a certified stabilised efficiency of 23.5% on a 30 x 30 cm perovskite submodule with a 676 cm² aperture, which UNSW announced on October 7, 2026 as a world record, 0.6 points above the previous benchmark. The team next hopes for around 18-19% on a 2.8 m² full-scale module.
