Leapmotor hits 106,127 in October as NIO and Li Auto deliveries fall

XPeng set a monthly record of 50,237 and Xiaomi passed 50,000, while NIO's 34,246 deliveries were about 15% below October 2025, by our arithmetic, as its Onvo brand's fell by more than half.

Leapmotor delivered a record 106,127 vehicles in October 2026, about twice XPeng's 50,237, which was itself a monthly record. Xiaomi said it delivered more than 50,000. At the other end of the table, NIO's 34,246 deliveries were about 15% below October 2025 and Li Auto's 29,025 about 9% below, by our arithmetic from the companies' own year-earlier releases. The figures below came out on October 31 and November 1.

Among NIO, XPeng and Xiaomi, the year to date is a closer race than the month. NIO's January-October total is 334,547; CnEVPost's tallies put XPeng at 334,604, 57 vehicles ahead, and Xiaomi at no fewer than 336,490 (CnEVPost).

Leapmotor: 106,127, a fourth month above 100,000

Leapmotor's record edged past September's. The company said October global deliveries reached 106,127, up 51% year on year and its fourth consecutive month above 100,000, with cumulative global deliveries past 1.9 million by the end of October (Leapmotor). CnEVPost puts October just 0.45% above September and the January-October total at 772,666, or 77.27% of Leapmotor's annual target of 1 million (CnEVPost). In Europe, Leapmotor said B10 mass production started on October 16 at the Zaragoza plant in Spain, under its partnership with Stellantis, after the A05 made its European debut at the Paris Motor Show on October 12.

XPeng: 50,237, with a quarter of it overseas

XPeng delivered 50,237 vehicles in October, a monthly record, up 22% from September and 20% from a year earlier (XPeng). The record it replaced, CnEVPost says, was the 42,013 of October 2025, itself a record when it was set (CnEVPost). Overseas deliveries reached a record 13,326, up 166% year on year and, by our arithmetic, about 27% of the month. Exported cars earn a smaller tax refund from April 1, 2027, when China's export VAT rebate on new energy vehicles falls from 13% to 9% (the rebate cut). A record month is not yet a record year: CnEVPost's January-October total of 334,604 is 5.80% below the same months of 2025.

Xiaomi: more than 50,000, and that is the number

October was Xiaomi's highest monthly total of 2026 and only its second month above 50,000, after 50,212 in December 2025, CnEVPost reports (CnEVPost). The number behind that is a floor: Xiaomi Auto's official Weibo account said on November 1 that it delivered more than 50,000 vehicles in October, and thanked its owners (Xiaomi Auto). Whether October beat December depends on a figure Xiaomi has not published.

Zeekr: up about 52% inside a flat Geely

Zeekr delivered 32,483 vehicles in October, against 21,423 a year earlier, an increase of about 52%, according to parent Geely Automobile's unaudited monthly sales filing to the Hong Kong exchange. Its January-October total of 320,887 was up about 94%. The group around it barely grew: Geely Automobile's October total of 310,183 rose about 1%, Lynk & Co fell about 45%, and exports rose about 158% to 107,153. October also ended a run of six consecutive monthly records for Zeekr, CnEVPost notes, at 12.72% below September (CnEVPost).

NIO: 34,246, as Onvo fell by half

NIO's decline is one brand's. The company delivered 34,246 vehicles in October: 18,125 under the NIO brand, 8,383 from Onvo and 7,738 from Firefly (NIO). Against the 40,397 of October 2025, the NIO brand rose from 17,143 and Firefly from 5,912, while Onvo fell from 17,342, a drop of about 52% by our arithmetic. CnEVPost counts the month as NIO's first year-on-year monthly decline since February 2024 and its lowest since April (CnEVPost). NIO's January-October deliveries of 334,547 were still up 38.5%, the company said.

Li Auto: 29,025, the lowest since February

Li Auto delivered 29,025 vehicles in October, with cumulative deliveries reaching 1,862,676 as of October 31 (Li Auto). That is about 9% fewer than the 31,767 of October 2025, by our arithmetic. CnEVPost calls it the company's lowest month since February and its second consecutive year-on-year decline (CnEVPost). Li Auto said the new Li MEGA accounted for more than 3,000 of October's deliveries, and the 2026 Li i6 launched on October 28.
