Ottawa commits C$100M to Nova Scotia offshore wind ahead of 2027 bid call
Natural Resources Canada committed C$100 million on October 15, 2026 to advance offshore wind in Nova Scotia, C$5 million of it for floating lidar buoys, and is also giving Net Zero Atlantic nearly C$3 million for transmission modelling. The release puts the offshore wind call for bids in winter 2027.
