Energy Vault buys Goshe's 15 US battery development projects, over 2.3 GW
Energy Vault Holdings said on September 22, 2026 it acquired approximately 2.3+ GW of US battery storage development projects from Goshe Energy Storage; no price was given. Two anchor projects of 150 MW and 200 MW, which the release calls ready to build, are expected online in Q1 2028 with about $30 million of combined annual run-rate EBITDA. Energy Vault says it secured an up-to-$40 million S2G facility while the release's forward-looking statements refer to transferring Goshe's existing S2G facility; it says Goshe's leadership and development professionals are joining.
